Pushing the Boundaries
As an innovator in the Coonawarra and Wrattonbully regions Hollick has experimented with a number of varietals and styles of wines that “push the boundaries” of winemaking. As a leader in Coonawarra viticulture, founder Ian Hollick believed that the unique climatic and soil conditions of both Coonawarra and Wrattonbully were ideal for the production of varieties other than those classic to these regions. Over time he planted Savagnin, Tempranillo, Sangiovese and Barbera. These varieties, along with innovative winemaking technique’s and modern styles make up Hollicks ‘Pushing the Boundaries’ range.
