Barbera
|
Barbera is the second most widely planted red variety in Italy, after Sangiovese. The highest quality Barbera is grown in the Piedmont region, producing richly fruited wines that show low to moderate levels of tannin and good natural acidity, which provides early drinking pleasure. Utilising grapes grown on our “Italian Block” on the Wilgha vineyard in Coonawarra, this wine has only been released twice, in 2005 and again in 2008. Made in extremely small quantities, this wine is juicy and lively showing fresh blackcurrant Enjoy now on its own or with Italian inspired dishes. |
