We hosted our fourth Food and Wine Matching Seminar ‘Winter Warmers’ on the 23rd June with 26 participants from the region taking part.
The seminar focussed on matching wine with winter warming dishes including Chicken Rogan Josh Curry with Hollick Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot and Lamb Shanks with our Wilgha Shiraz. Chef Tim Foster demonstrated how to use a selection of spices, seeds and powder to make a curry base. Tim created a curry paste from scratch with each guest taking some home so they could create their own Rogan Josh Curry.
The evening was again a success and we look forward to hosting our fifth food and wine matching seminar which will match the flavours of the Mediterranean with a range of Hollick wines on September 14th. Stay tuned for more information!
